Julie Cuevas, Your Instructor

Welcome!

My name is Julie and I am a happy mom of two young boys, three older children, wife and small business owner. In 2017 my husband and I moved to Boise to open a small restaurant. Shortly thereafter, we were introduced the the ISR method and our one year old went through the program. Immediately, I was impressed with the effectiveness and efficiency with which my son learned to float.  There were tears, a lot of tears, but every one was worth it to see my son float and know that he would take those skills with him wherever we went.

Then, like so many families, we had an accident on the River. He was in a boat apart from ours and we watched how he and his grandparents got caught in trees, overturning everyone inside. It was terrifying watching this happen and being so close, but too far to do anything to help him. Fortunately, due to his ISR skills and life jacket he was able to help himself when I couldn't. For that, I will be forever grateful to this program and the instructor that taught him these invaluable Self-Rescue skills.

I teach all lessons from my private residence, indoor heated and salt-water pool in north-west Boise. If you are interested in learning more please contact me. If you are ready to book the next session please click the "sign-up" button above. Thank you and I look forward to share my knowledge with you and help your little one learn to self rescue in an aquatic emergency.
